Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an young American actress, singer–songwriter and Disney product. She starred in Lizzie McGuire and A Cinderella Story, and sang "So Yesterday" and "Come Clean".

Duff was a professional ballet dancer by age 6, when her mother decided she should be an actress. Hilary appeared in many TV commercials, and in 1997, at age 10, she was an extra in a Hallmark Hall of Fame TV show.

In August 2009, it was announced that Duff will star in The Business of Falling in Love, a romantic comedy based on the book "Diary of a Working Girl," by Daniella Brodsky and directed by Gil Junger.

In 2004, at 16 years old, she launched a line of clothes called "Stuff", marketed by Target stores. In September 2009, Duff released a second clothing line with DKNY Jeans as "Femme for DKNY." She decided to design a new clothing line for girls of her age which had detachable scarves and adjustable belt loops
